Specialist ecological consultants focused on practical outcomes

Envisage Environmental provides specialist fauna surveys, threatened species assessments and ecological advice across Western Australia.

We work with mining, infrastructure, renewable energy, government, Traditional Owner organisations and land development clients to deliver ecological advice that is scientifically robust, commercially practical and suited to the needs of each project.

Better ecological information leads to better decisions

Envisage Environmental was created around a simple idea: better ecological information leads to better project decisions.

We combine specialist ecological expertise, practical project experience and modern technology to collect, analyse and communicate ecological information more effectively.

Our focus goes beyond identifying ecological values and risks. We help clients understand what the information means for their project, where the important issues lie and what should happen next.

Our work is guided by four principles.

Our Approach

Science-led

Recommendations must be supported by reliable data, current knowledge and sound ecological reasoning.

Practical

Technical advice should help clients make decisions, not leave them with another problem to decipher.

Collaborative

The strongest environmental outcomes come from working closely with clients, regulators, researchers, Traditional Owners and complementary specialists.

Respectful

We approach every project with respect for ecological and cultural values, local knowledge and the people and places connected to them.

Why Envisage?

Throughout his career, Chris Knuckey has worked on significant threatened species projects across Western Australia, collaborating with industry, government, researchers and Traditional Owners.

Those projects reinforced a simple lesson: the best outcomes come from combining specialist knowledge, practical thinking and genuine collaboration.

Envisage Environmental was established to bring those elements together; providing specialist ecological expertise, practical advice and a more responsive approach to project delivery.
